Refund Policy

1. Scope of the Refund Policy : This policy applies to fees and payments made in connection with admission, academic programmes, and other College-related services, subject to the applicable rules, regulations, admission guidelines, and fee structure in force for the relevant academic session. Refund eligibility may vary depending upon: The type of fee paid The date of withdrawal or cancellation The applicable admission schedule Whether the admission process has been completed Whether the seat has been allotted or confirmed Applicable rules of the competent regulatory or affiliating authority The specific terms communicated by the College at the time of admission

2. Admission Cancellation and Withdrawal : Students or applicants who wish to cancel their admission or withdraw from a course must submit a formal written request to the College. The request should include relevant details such as: Student's full name Course/programme Admission or registration details Date of admission Reason for withdrawal, where required Bank details or other information necessary for processing the refund Verbal requests or informal communication may not be treated as a formal refund request.

3. Eligibility for Refund : Refunds, where applicable, will be processed in accordance with the refund rules applicable to the relevant academic session and the guidelines issued by competent authorities. The amount refundable, if any, will depend on the date on which the withdrawal request is received and the applicable fee-refund regulations. Certain fees may be non-refundable, including, where applicable: Application or registration fees Admission/processing charges Administrative charges Charges for services already provided Other non-refundable fees specifically identified in the applicable fee structure or admission documentation.

4. Refund After Admission : Once a student has been formally admitted and the academic session has commenced, any refund request will be considered in accordance with the applicable College rules, admission conditions, and regulatory guidelines. Withdrawal from a course after commencement of the academic session does not automatically entitle a student to a full refund. Any deductions or liabilities applicable under the relevant rules will be considered before the final refund amount is determined.

5. Refund of Security/Caution Deposit : Where a refundable security or caution deposit has been collected, the amount may be refunded subject to the applicable College rules. Any outstanding dues, damages, unpaid charges, or other permissible deductions may be adjusted against the refundable deposit before the balance is released.

6. Hostel and Other Facility Charges : Where applicable, hostel fees, transportation charges, examination fees, uniform charges, laboratory charges, or other facility-related payments may be governed by separate rules. Refunds for such amounts, where applicable, will be determined according to the relevant terms and the services already provided.

7. Duplicate or Excess Payments : If a student or applicant accidentally makes a duplicate payment or pays an amount in excess of the applicable fee, the College may verify the transaction and process the eligible excess amount after confirmation. The refund may be subject to verification of the payment transaction and applicable administrative procedures.

8. Payment Gateway and Bank Charges : Where payments are processed through third-party payment gateways, banks, or other payment service providers, transaction or processing charges may be non-refundable where such charges have already been incurred. Any applicable deduction will be communicated or accounted for during the refund process.

9. Refund Processing : Approved refunds will normally be processed through the original payment method or another authorized method as determined by the College. The time required for the refund to reach the applicant's or student's account may depend on the College's internal processing procedures, banks, payment gateways, and other financial institutions. The College shall not be responsible for delays caused by third-party banking or payment systems.

10. Documents Required for Refund : The College may require supporting documents before processing a refund request, including: Written refund/withdrawal application Admission receipt or fee receipt Student identification/admission number Identity proof, where required Bank account details Proof of payment Any other documents required by the College or competent authority Incomplete documentation may result in a delay in processing the refund.

11. Non-Refundable Payments : Payments specifically identified as non-refundable in the applicable admission documents, fee structure, prospectus, or College communication shall not ordinarily be eligible for refund, except where otherwise required under applicable law or regulatory guidelines.

12. Changes in Course or Admission Status : If a student changes a course, category, admission status, or programme after payment of fees, any adjustment or refund will be considered according to the applicable College rules and the requirements of the relevant authority. Any difference in fees resulting from such a change may be payable by the student.

13. Regulatory and Institutional Requirements : This Refund Policy shall be read together with the applicable admission rules, fee structure, prospectus, institutional policies, and regulations issued by the competent authorities from time to time. Where a mandatory regulatory requirement applies, the applicable regulatory requirement shall prevail over any inconsistent provision of this policy.

14. Right to Amend the Policy : NRI College of Nursing reserves the right to amend, modify, or update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in applicable laws, regulations, admission procedures, fee structures, or institutional policies. The revised policy will be published on the website with the updated effective date.

16. Final Decision : All refund requests shall be reviewed by the College in accordance with the applicable admission rules, fee structure, institutional policies, and regulatory requirements. The final refundable amount, where applicable, will be determined after verification of the student's admission status, payment records, withdrawal date, outstanding dues, and other relevant factors. By making a payment or accepting admission, the student/applicant acknowledges that they have read and understood the applicable refund terms and agree to comply with the refund procedures of the College.

Aims

The Aims of the college is to provide an educational program through which the Nursing graduates will be prepared to assume responsibility in the primary, secondary and tertiary care of the people as professional nurses. It is expected that graduates are capable of teaching and setting and participate in the administration of nursing service and education.

  • To help nurses to develop ability to Co-operate and to Co-ordinate with members of health team to serve humanity.
  • To serve as a base for further professional education and specialization in nursing.
  • To prepare nurses to keep pace with latest professional and technological developments for providing best possible nursing services.
